Ladyhawke

You know how there’s been this 80’s revival around lately in the music scene? There are a lot of bands out right now doing their best to mimic that original sound. Some of them are coming very close too. But I was blown away at how good of a job this New Zealander, Ladyhawke, has done. She has been able to take me back to the days of Nintendo better than the rest. She recreates some sounds from the 80’s that I forgot about completely but was pleasantly surprised to hear again.

I downloaded her album a while ago and just haven’t gotten around to posting about it. It’s a really good album guys. You really need to check it out. It’s one of those albums that every song is catchy and well made.
